“Making school environments more conductive to learning about and practicing healthy eating by optimizing physical resources and learning spaces.” They came up with multiple zones, adjacent spaces and visual connections to potentially affect healthy eating in the elementary school. These ten zones are: a commercial kitchen zone, teaching kitchen zone, aesthetics of health food environments, education signage, wayfinding, and marketing, water access and vending machines, on-site food production, integrated healthy food education facilities and integrated healthy food community. My goal: have the students become more educated on nutrition and the food they put in their bodies.
